Description

The Ironwear 2950 Aluminum Tripod is the foundation for the Ironwear 2949 7’ Confined Space Tripod Kit.
Made from high strength aluminum, this base is designed to be easily lifted, carried and handled. Ideal for tight spaces and outdoor locations where overhead anchorage points are not available, this tripod features three legs that are independently extendable to reach a 7-foot length.
It’s enclosed within a carrying bag for portable convenience, and features a webbing strap positioned at its feet. Once the legs are extended across the ground, the strap secures an entrenched placement.
The attached swiveling carabiner, located underneath the head of the tripod, is self-locking and made of steel. The free-falling clevis and quick release pins are built-in to perform as a secure connection between the head, legs, and mounted applications. Additionally, the tripod’s head is equipped with two eye bolts that can be used as supplementary attachments to hold other items required.
